APPOINTING SPECIAL OFFICERS TO TERM OF ELECTED BODY OF CERTAIN URBAN LOCAL BODIES WILL CEASE TO EXIST w.e.f. 02.07.2019.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the provisio under section 62-A of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965 and section 14 of Telangana Municipal Corporations, Act, 1994 read with section 70-G of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, the Governor of Telangana hereby appoints Special Officer to the Municipalities/ Municipal Corporations in the State as indicated in the Annexure to exercise the powers, performs the duties and discharge the functions of the Municipal Council, the Chairperson/Mayor and the Committees constituted under the respective Acts until the elected members come into office.
