ESTABLISHMENT OF THIRTY SIX (36) FAST TRACK SPECIAL COURTS IN THE CADRE OF ADDITIONAL DISTRICT AND SESSIONS JUDGE AT VARIOUS STATIONS IN THE DISTRICTS OF TELANGANA STATE.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (1) of Section 28 of "The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Act 32 of 2012)", the Government of Telangana, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, hereby establishes thirty six (36) Fast Track Special Courts in the cadre of Additional District and Sessions Judge at various stations in the Districts of Telangana State, as sanctioned in G.O.Ms.No.58, Law (LA, LA & J-Home-Courts.A2) Department, Dated: 19-12-2019 and G.O.Ms.No.104, Finance (HRM-II) Department, Dated: 30-12-2019, for expeditious trial and disposal of Rape and Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act cases, in addition to the Courts already notified in G.O.Rt.No.630, Law (LA & J-Home-Courts C) Department, dated:23-3-2013, as published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette Part-I Extraordinary Notification No. 242, dated 1-4-2013, under the "Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Act 32 of 2012)" for trial of POCSO Act cases arising from the respective Sessions Divisions, along with the other criminal/rape cases, as are made over by the respective Sessions Judges, by denotifying the nine (9) existing Fast Track Courts which were notified/converted as Special Courts exclusively to deal with trial and disposal of cases under POCSO Act, vide G.O.Rt.No.542, Law (LA, LA & J-Home-Courts.A2) Department, dated 26-9-2019.
The Registrar (Administration), High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
