HIGH COURT FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA
SETTING UP OF 36 FAST TRACK SPECIAL COURTS FOR EXPEDITIOUS TRIAL AND DISPOSAL OF RAPE AND POCSO ACT CASES IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA.
R.O.C. No. 496/E1/2019.– In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Sections (3) and (6) of Section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, hereby specifies that with effect on and from the date of the Officers posted assumes charge, the thirty six (36) Fast Track Special Courts in the cadre of Additional District and Sessions Judge as sanctioned in G.O. Ms. No. 58, Law (LA, LA & J-Home Courts A2) Department, Dated 19-12-2019 and G.O. Ms. No. 104, Finance (HRM-II) Department, Dated 30-12-2019, for expeditious trial and disposal of Rape and Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, shall sit at their respective stations as mentioned in the Annexure to the G.O. Ms. No. 58, Law (LA, LA & J-Home Courts A2) Department, Dated 19-12-2019 and dispose of the cases relating to Rape and Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other criminal matters, as are made over to them by the respective Sessions Judges in the State of Telangana.
