AMENDMENT TO RULE 3 OF THE TELANGANA URBAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY SERVICE RULES, 1988.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 4-B read with Section 58 of Andhra Pradesh Urban Areas (Development) Act, 1975, the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana Urban Development Authority Service Rules, 1988 issued vide G.O.Ms.No. 611, HMA&UD (B1), (MA), dated : 22-11-1988 and as adapted vide G.O.Ms.No. 165, MA & UD (B1) Department, dated : 01-06-2016.
AMENDMENT
In the Telangana Urban Development Authority Service Rules, 1988:-
(i) In rule 2, after category 7, the following category shall be added namely:-
"8. Assistant Director of Horticulture".
(ii) In rule 3, in the table thereunder, after category 7, the following category shall be added, namely:-

| 8. Assistant Director of Horticulture | By promotion from the category of Horticulture Officer; or Deputation from the office of the Director of Horticulture, Telangana State, if no eligible candidates is available for promotion. |
(iii) In rule 6, in the Schedule thereunder, after category 7, the following category shall be added, namely:-

| 8. Assistant Director of Horticulture | Must possess M.Sc. (Horti) with basic Degree in Horticulture from a recognized University in the State or any other University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. | --- |
