CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE TELANGANA GOODS AND SERVICES TAX ACT, 2017 (TELANGANA ACT No.23 OF 2017) - STATE TAX -RATES OF TAX ON GOODS AND SERVICES.
[G.O. Ms. No. 73, Revenue (Ct-II), 26th June, 2020.]
No. 1/2020-State Tax (Rate).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 and sub-section (5) of Section 15 of the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Telangana Act No. 23 of 2017), the State Government, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following amendments to the rates of taxes on goods and services under the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 issued in the notification No.1/2017-State Tax (Rate), issued in G.O. Ms. No. 110, Revenue (CT-II) Department, Dt.29- 06-2017, published in Telangana Gazette Part-I, Extraordinary No. 191/A, Dt.30-06-2017 and as amended subsequently from time to time, namely:-
In the said notification,-
(a) in Schedule II - 6%, S.No.242 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted;
(b) in Schedule IV - 14%, for S. No. 228 and the entries relating thereto, the following
S. No. and the entries shall be substituted, namely:-
| "228 | Any chapter | Lottery". |
This notification shall deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st day of March,2020.

Ms. No. 74, Revenue (Ct-II), 26th June, 2020.]In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 128 of the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Telangana Act No. 23 of 2017), the State Government, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following amendment inthe notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 41, Rev (CT-II) Dept.,dt. 23-02-2018, as amended subsequently from time to time namely:-
In the said notification, in the third proviso for the figures, letters and word "10th January,2020", the figures, letters and word "17th January, 2020" shall be substituted.
