AMENDMENT TO THE TELANGANA STATE TRANSPORT SUBORDINATE SERVICE RULES,

2009.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana Transport Subordinate Service Rules, 2009 issued in G.O.Ms.No.71, Transport, Roads and Buildings (Ser.IV) Department, Dated 19.02.2009 and published in Part–I, pages 1-8, Extraordinary Issue of the A.P.Gazette, dated: 19.02.2019 and as amended subsequently from time to time:-

AMENDMENT

1. In rule 2, the following category shall be omitted, namely,-

"Category (1) - Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors".

2. In rule 3,

(i) in the table thereunder, the entries at Sl.No.1 and the corresponding entries at Columns (2) and (3) shall be omitted.

(ii) All the provisos including Note thereunder shall be omitted.

3. In rule 4, in the table thereunder,

(i) the entries pertaining to the 'Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector' shall be omitted.

(ii) in category (2), in column (2), the entries at Sl.No.(i) to (iv) shall be omitted.

4. In rule 5, in sub-rule (a), for the words "to the posts of Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspectors, Transport Constables", the words "to the post of Transport Constable" shall be substituted.

5. In rule 6, in the Annexure, the entries at Sl.No.1 and corresponding entries at Columns (2) and (3) shall be omitted. [1] G-772. 2 TELANGANA GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part I 6. In rule 10, the words "Assistant Motor Vehicle inspector or' shall be omitted. 7. In rule 11,

(i) in sub-rules (a) and (b), the words 'Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector or" shall be omitted.

(ii) in sub-rule (c), for the words "to any of the posts shall,", the words "to the post of Transport Constable shall," shall be substituted.

8. Rule 12 shall be omitted.

9. In rule 13, in the table thereunder, for the entries at Category-1 and 2 and the corresponding entries at Column (2), the following shall be substituted:-

Category-2 Transport Head Constables	Unit-V : Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam Districts Unit-VI : Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda, Medak and Ranga Reddy Districts.

Category-2 Transport Head Constables

Unit-V : Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam Districts Unit-VI : Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda, Medak and Ranga Reddy Districts.
