CERTAIN AMENDMENTS THE TELENGANA MUNICIPAL

(ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY TASX) RULES, 2020.

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 238 read with sections 102 of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 2019, the Government hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana Municipalities (Assessment of Property Tax) Rules, 2020, issued in G.O.Ms. No. 230, MA & UD (MA) Department, Dated : 11-12-2020 and as amended from time to time: [ 1 ] G - 266.

AMENDMENTS

In sub rule (1) of rule 13, the following shall be added namely:-

"(k). Poultry & Dairy units are exempted from payment of property tax subject to payment of nominal amount of Rs. 100/- per annum to ensure that Property Records are maintained in Property Taxation Records of ULBs"
