AMENDMENT TO THE TELANGANA NATURE CURE AND YOGA SERVICE RULES.
[G .O.Ms.No.183, Health, Medical and Family Welfare (E.1), 24th December, 2021.]
In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the constitution of India and all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendments to the Telangana Nature Cure and Yoga Service Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No. 68, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Departmnet, dt: 16.02.1994 and as subsequently amended from time to time.
AMENDMENT
In the said Rules;
(1) In Rule-3:- Method of Appointment, in the table thereunder, in Branch-III: Vemana Yoga, Research Institute for column (2) against Class-II, Category-IV i.e. Lecturer in Yoga, the following shall be substituted, namely;
(i) By promotion from the category of Yoga Supervisor.
(ii) By direct recruitment, if no suitable or eligible candidates are available for promotion by the method (i) above.
(2) In Annexure to Rule-4, in the table thereunder, in Branch-III Vemana Yoga Research Institute for column (2) and Column (3) against Class-II, Category-(4), i.e. Lecturer in Yoga, the following shall be substituted, namely;

| (i) By promotion from the category of Yoga Supervisor. | a) Must possess a Bachelor's Degree of any University in India established or incorporated by or under a central Act or aState Act an Institution recognized by the UGC or any equivalent qualification . b) Must possess Diploma in Yoga. c) Must have 10 years of experience as Yoga Supervisor at Telangana State Yogadhyayana Parishad. |
| (ii) By direct recruitment, if no suitable or eligible candidates are available | Must possess Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences/ Diploma in Naturopathy (OU) of not less than 4 year regular for promotion by the method (i) above. course from any recognized University of any statutory board of the State Government, with medical registration of the Concerned Medical Registration Board of the State with (1) year of teaching or clinical experience. |
The Director, AYUSH, Telangana and Secretary, Telangana Yogadhyayana Parishad shall take appropriate action accordingly.
