TELANGANA PRIVATE COLLEGES OF NURSING (GRANT OF PERMISSION TO PRIVATE COLLEGES OR INSTITUTIONS AND ADMISSION INTO B.Sc., NURSING COURSE) RULES, 1997 - REVISED NURSING EDUCATION REGULATIONS FOR ADMISSION INTO B.Sc., (NURSING) 4 YEAR DEGREE COURSE FROM THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23 ONWARDS- AMENDMENT TO EXISTING RULES.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 read with sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission and prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act 1983 (Act No.5 of 1983), the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendments to eligibility criteria for B.Sc., (Nursing) 4 year degree course admissions issued in the G.O.Ms.No. 145, HM&FW (M2) Dept., Dated: 18.05.1998 from the academic year 2022-23 onwards.

AMENDMENT
Selection procedure for admissions into B.Sc., (Nursing) 4 YDC
Course and quota For Read as
B.Sc., (Nursing) 4 year degree course Competent Authority quota
The Committee shall make selections based on rank obtained in Telangana State EAMCET and other applicable rules.
Rule-5 (ii) The Committee shall make selections based purely on merit arrived at on the basis of aggregate of marks obtained by the candidates in science group in deciding the merit, candidates who qualify under compartmental system will be placed after candidates who pass in a single attempt.
B.Sc., (Nursing) 4 year degree course Management quota
Selection for the Management seats will be made by the management of the College or Institute, as the case may be. However, the selection shall be based on rank obtained in NEET-UG for Management Quota; and the admission for the above seats shall be made after the list of candidates is verified by the of candidates is verified by the said Selection Committee.
Rule-5 (iii) Selection for the Management seats will be made by the management of the College or Institute, as the case may be However, the selection shall be based on objective criteria including merit in the qualifying examination; and the admission for the above seats shall be made after the list of candidates is verified by the said Selection Committee.

Registrar, KNRUHS, Warangal, Director of Medical Education, Hyderabad and Registrar, Telangana State Nursing Council, Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter accourdingly.
