INDIAN STAMP ACT, 1899 - REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT PLAN IN VIEW OF THE HOUSES AND OPEN PLOTS ACQUIRED FROM THE PROJECT DISPLACED FAMILIES IN THE SUBMERGED VILLAGES IN THE ANANTHAGIRI SAGAR MALLAMMA SAGAR & KONDAPOCHAMMA SAGAR RESERVOIRS IN THE SIDDIPET DISTRICT - EXAMPTION OF STAMP DUTY / TRANSFER DUTY, REGISTRATION FEE AND USER CHARGES ETC., AS ONE TIME BASIS FOR EXECUTION OF CONVEYANCE DEEDS WITH LAND ALIENABLE RIGHTS IN FAVOUR OF THE PROJECT DISPLACED FAMILIES.

I-. In exercise on the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act II of 1899), the Governor of Telangana hereby exempt the Stamp Duty in full chargeable under the said Act, as one time basis for execution of registration of Conveyance Deeds with land alienable rights in favour of the Project Displaced Families for the 2 BHK Houses & Plots allotted as part of the Rehabilitation & Resettlement plan in view of the houses and open plots acquired from the Project Displaced Families in the submerged villages in the Ananthagiri Sagar, Mallanna Sagar & Kondapochamma Sagar Reservoirs in the Siddipet District.
II-.In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 78 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Act XVI of 1908), the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the "Table of Fees" under Registration Fee issued in G.O.Ms.No.85, Revenue (Registration) Department, Dt: 01-09-2021.
AMENDMENT
In the said "Table of fees", after Category (4), the following shall be added namely:-
"No Registration fee shall be leviable on Conveyance Deeds as one time basis for execution of registration of Conveyance Deeds with land alienable rights in favour of the Project Displaced Families for the 2 BHK Houses & Plots allotted as part of the Rehabilitation & Resettlement plan in view of the houses and open plots acquired from the Project Displaced Families in the submerged villages in the Ananthagiri Sagar, Mallanna Sagar & Kondapochamma Sagar Reservoirs in the Siddipet District."
