UNDER THE PRE-CONCEPTION AND PRE-NATAL DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUES (PROHIBITION OF SEX SELECTION) ACT, 1994 - APPOINTMENT OF STATE APPELLATE AUTHORITY.

"In exercise of the powers conferred in sub rule (2) Of rule-19A of the Pre-conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Rules, 1996, the Government of Telangana hereby appoints the Secretary to Government, Health Medical & Family Welfare Department, Telangana State as State Appellate Authority for the whole State, for the purpose of appeal against the orders of State Appropriate Authority".
The Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, Hyderabad shall take further action in the matter.
