DESIGNATION OF THE COURTS OF PRINCIPAL DISTRICT AND SESSIONS JUDGES IN ALL THE DISTRICTS AND THE COURTS OF METROPOLITAN SESSIONS JUDGES IN THE METROPOLITAN SESSIONS DIVISIONS AT HYDERABAD, RANGAREDDY, MEDCHAL- MALKAJGIRI AS SPECIAL COURTS FOR TRIAL OF OFFENCES UNDER DRUGS AND COSMETICS ACT, 1940.

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 36 AB (1) of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, the Government of Telangana, in consultation with the Chief Justice, High Court for the State of Telangana, hereby designates the Courts of Principal District and Sessions Judges in all the Districts and the Courts of Metropolitan Sessions Judges in the Metropolitan Sessions Divisions at Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri as Special Courts in supersession of earlier notifications issued in this regard, from the date of publication of the Notification, for trial of offences relating to Adulterated Drugs or Spurious Drugs and punishable under clause (a) and (b) of Section 13, Sub-section (3) of Section 22 Clause (a) and (c) of Section 27, Section 28, Section 28A, Section 28B and Clause (b) of Sub Section (1) of Section 30 and other offences relating to adulterated drugs or spurious drugs arising from the respective Sessions Divisions and the said Courts shall exercise jurisdiction over the said Sessions Division.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 153 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (Act No.36 of 2003), the Government of Telangana, hereby notify that the following Courts mentioned in Column No (2) of the table below are designated as Special Courts to try the Offences under Sections 135 to 140 and Section 150 of the aforesaid Act and will exercise jurisdiction over the districts mentioned in Column No (3) of the table below:

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 30 of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (Central Act No.10 of 1994), the Government of Telangana, with the concurrence of the Chief Justice, High Court for the State of Telangana, hereby specify the following Courts mentioned in Column No (2) of the table below as Special Courts to be Human Rights Courts for providing speedy trial of offences arising out of violation of Human Rights, and the said Courts shall exercise jurisdiction over the districts mentioned in Column No (3) of the table below:

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 36 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Act No.61 of 1985), and read with Clause (J) of Section 2 of Code of Criminal Procedure Code 1973, and after consultation with the High Court for the State of Telangana, the Government of Telangana, hereby designates the following Courts mentioned in Column No.(2) of the table below as "Special Courts" to deal with the cases filed under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, even if such cases includes offences punishable under the Indian Penal Code, 1860 or and any other enactment of such offences from part of same transaction, duly following the procedure prescribed under Section 36 A and 36 C of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Amended Act 2 of 1988) in the State of Telangana over the districts mentioned in the Column No.(3) of the table below:

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (Act No.33 of 1989) and in consultation with the Chief Justice, High Court for the State of Telangana and in supersession of the earlier notifications issued on the subject, the Government of Telangana, hereby designates the following Courts mentioned in Column No.(2) of the table below as "Special Courts" to deal with the cases filed under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, over the districts mentioned in the Column No.(3) of the table below:

DESIGNATION OF ALL THE PRINCIPAL DISTRICT AND SESSIONS JUDGES COURTS IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA AS "SPECIAL COURTS" TO TRY CASES UNDER TELANGANA PANCHAYAT RAJ ACT, 2018 (ACT 5 OF 2018).

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 27(1) of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 (Act 5 of 2018) the Government, in consultation with the High Court for the State of Telangana, hereby notifies all the Principal District and Sessions Judges Courts in the State of Telangana as "Special Courts" to receive and dispose of the cases filed under the said Act and will exercise jurisdiction over the area in which office of the Gram Panchayat is situated for decision arising out of cases filed under Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 of the said Act.
