In the reference 1st cited, Government have instituted disciplinary proceedings against Sri Mohd. Hafeez Khan, EE (PH) Div.No.2 GHMC (Retd.), and other three (3) officials on the allegation of Irregularities Regarding the poor Quality of works and misappropriation funds in division-II (SZ) Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

In the reference 2nd cited, Government have appointed Sri Ch. Mallikarjunudu, Superintending Engineer (QCC)GHMC, as Enquiry Officer to inquire into the charges framed against Sri Mohd. Hafeez Khan, EE (PH) (Retd.), and other officials, in this issue. [ 1 ] G - 152. 2 TELANGANA GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I The Enquiry Officer has submitted his Report to the Government vide reference 3rd cited, wherein, the one (1) charge framed on Sri Mohd. Hafeez Khan, EE (PH) (Retd.), is partially proved. Whereas, in the reference 4th cited, a copy of the Enquiry Report has been communicated to Sri Mohd.

Hafeez Khan, EE (PH) (Retd.) and he has submitted his explanation requesting to drop all further proceedings, vide reference 5th cited.

Government after examination of the matter, have provisionally decided to impose a penalty of 10% cut in pension for a period of one (1) year on Sri Mohd. Hafeez Khan, EE (PH) (Retd.) in terms of Rule 9 of T.S. Revised Pension Rules, 1980.

Sri Mohd. Hafeez Khan, EE (PH) (Retd.) is, therefore, directed to show cause as to why the proposed punishment as referred to at para 5 above shall not be imposed on him. He shall submit his explanation within (15) days from the date of receipt of this memo. If no explanation is received within the stipulated time, it will be construed that the individual has no explanation to submit and further action as proposed above will be taken as per rules.
