INDIRECT ELECTIONS TO THE POST OF UPA-SARPANCH OF NAGARGUDA GRAM PANCHAYAT, SHABAD MANDAL IN RANGAREDDY DISTRICT AND NANDIGAMA GRAM PANCHAYAT, NALLABELLY MANDAL IN WARANGAL DISTRICT.
No. 21/ TSEC-PR/2022-6:- In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 196 and 197 and Sub-section (9) of Section 15 of Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 and read with second and third provisos of Rule 3 (1) and 7 of Telangana Panchayat Raj (Conduct of Elections to Upa-Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat) Rules, 2018, the State Election Commissioner, Telangana, hereby, directs the District Panchayat Officer, Rangareddy and Warangal Districts to authorize a person who shall be not below the rank of Revenue Inspector to conduct election to the casual vacancies in the office of Upa-Sarpanch of (i) Nagarguda Gram Panchayat, Shabad Mandal in Rangareddy District and (ii) Nandigama Gram Panchayat, Nallabelly Mandal in Warngal District, in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said rules and specifies the schedule for the casual election to the said office in Annexure appended to this Notification.
NOTE : If any casual vacancy in the office of member of (i) Nagarguda Gram Panchayat, Shabad Mandal in Rangareddy District and (ii) Nandigama Gram Panchayat, Nallabelly Mandal in Warangal district is occurred before issue of this Notification, Upa-Sarpanch election in (i) Nagarguda Gram Panchayat, (ii) Nandigama Gram Panchayat should not be conducted and report the matter immediately to the State Election Commission for further orders.
