AMENDMENT TO THE ADHOC RULES TO THE POSTS OF PUBLIC HEALTH NURSES.
[G .O.Ms.No.76, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (G), 14th July, 2022.]
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereinto enabling, the Governor of Telangana State hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana State Subordinate Service Adhoc Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No. 679, HH&MA Department, dated: 19.04.1966.
The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with immediate effect from 21-07-2022.
AMENDMENT
In the said Rules:
(1) For Rule-2, the following shall be substituted namely:-
2. Appointment: Appointment to the post shall be in following preference.
(a) By promotion of MPHS (F) with General Nursing & Midwives (GNM) (OR) B.Sc (Nursing) qualification.
OR
(b) By promotion of Staff Nurses who are promoted from the category of MPHA (F) having (3) years' experience in the category of Staff Nurse.
2 TELANGANA GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I OR (c) By direct recruitment(2) In Rule 4, after item (2), the following new item shall be added namely:-
"3. By Direct Recruitment
(i) GNM / B.Sc (Nursing)
(ii) Must be registered with Telangana Nurses and Midwives Council".
(3) The nomenclature of the post "Public Health Nurse" shall be read as "Public Health Nurse (Teaching)".
