TELANGANA STATE ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION (TSERC) - STRENGTH OF OFFICERS / STAFF, METHOD OF RECRUITMENT AND SERVICE CONDITIONS- AMENDMENT TO CLAUSE 9 OF REGULATION 3 OF ANDHRA PRADESH STATE ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION (APERC) (ADOPTED FOR TSERC).

The existing clause No. 9 of Regulation No. 3 of 1999 in amended and replaced with the following new clause.

Present Clause	New Clause
The age limit for direct recruitment to the posts mentioned in regulation 4 (i) (b) shall be as per the prevailing rules of Government of Telangana as modified from time to time. However in respect of the remaining staff there shall be no upper age limit for considering them for appointment. Persons who have already superannuated are to be appointed into the Commission only on Contract basis.	The age limit for direct recruitment to the posts mentioned in regulation 4 (i) (b) (Staff posts) shall be as per the prevailing rules of Government of Telangana as modified from time to time. In deserving case of inservice employees of State/Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Regulatory Bodies and Power Sector Entities, the upper age limit can be relaxed over the age limit prescribed by the Government of Telangana. However, in respect of the remaining staff (Officers) there shall be no upper age limit for considering them for appointment. Persons who have already superannuated are to the appointed into the Commission only on Contract basis.
