AMENDMENT TO THE TELANGANA MEDICAL EDUCATION SERVICE RULES.
[G.O.Ms. No. 120, Heath, Medical and Family Welfare (H), 12th September, 2022.]
In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendments to the Telangana Medical Education Service Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No. 154 HM&FW (A2) Department dated: 04.05.2002 and as subsequently amended from time to time.
AMENDMENTS
In the said rules,
(1) Existing Rule 16 shall be renumbered as Rule 17 (2) For Rule 16, the following shall be substituted, namely;
"16. Appointing authority and Unit of appointment
The Appointing authority for the Bio-Medical Engineer shall be the Director of Medical Education.
For the purpose of recruitment, each Multi-zone as per the Telangana Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 2018 shall be the unit of appointment."
