THE ELECTRICITY ACT, 2003 - CENTRAL ELECTRICITY AUTHORITY (MEASURES RELATING TO SAFETY AND ELECTRIC SUPPLY) REGULATIONS, 2010 - TELANGANA STATE ELECTRICAL LICENSING REGULATIONS, 2018 - SIMPLIFICATION OF ACTS AND REGULATIONS - ONLINE SYSTEM FOR GRANT AND RENEWAL OF ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR'S GRADE A AND GRADE B LICENSES, GRANT OF CERTIFICATES OF COMPETENCY AND PERMITS TO SUPERVISOR AND WIREMEN.

In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued notification for issuing of Licenses to Electrical Constractors and issuing Certificates of Competencey and Permits to Supervisors and Wiremen.
In the reference 2nd read above, Government has taken up an exercise for redecing the compliance burden on the users by rationalizing / simpligy the existing process and procedures. There are total 6 No.s of compliances relating to Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018 identified in Electrical inspectorate department to make less burdensome and same uploaded in DPIIT portal.
In the reference 3rd read above, the Chief Electrical Inspector to Government, Hyderabad has requested to issue Government Order to submit and process the applications through online only for Grant of Electrical Licenses Contractor's Grade A and Grade B Licenses Under Regulation 33 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018, Grant of Certificates of Competency and Permits to Supervisor Under Regulation 25 of Telangana State 2 TELANGANA GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018, Grant of Certificates of Competency and Permits to wiremen under regulation 28 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018, Renewal of / Lapsed Electrical Contractor's Grade A and Grade B Licenses, Under Regulation 47 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018, Renewal / Lapsed of Permit to Supervisor and wiremen under Regulation 31 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018 and Addition / Alternation in the name of the Contractor's License Under Regulation 40 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations.2018. The system allows submission of online application, payment of fees, fracking and monitoring the application, downloading the final signed Licenses and Permits.
Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby decide that an application for Grant of Electrical Licenses Contractor's Grade A and Grade B Licenses Under Regulation 33 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018, Grant of Certificates of Competency and Permits to Supervisor Under Regulation 25 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018, Grant of Certificates of Competency and Permits to wiremen under Regulation 28 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018, Renewal / Lapsed Electrical Constractor's Grade A and Grade B Licenses, Under Regulation 47 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018, Renewal/Lapsed of Permit to Supervisor and wiremen under Regulation 31 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018 and Addition/Alternation in the name of the Constrctor's License Under Regulation 40 of Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018 shall be mandatorily submitted and processed online to reduce compliance burden.
The service can be availed throgh Department's website (i.e., https://tsceig.cgg.gov.in/login.do). The Chief Electrical Inspector to Government shall take necessary steps to implement the above.
