THE TELANGANA STAE FOREST SUBORDINATE SERVICE RULES, 2000 - AMENDMENT.
[G.O.Ms.No.123, Environment, Forests, Science &Technology (For.II), 23rd December, 2022.]
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendments to the Telangana Stae Forest Subordinate Service Rules, 2000 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 88, EFS&T (For.IV) Dept., dt: 19-07-2000.
AMENDMENT
(1) In the said rules, in rule 3:

| "The vacancies in the category of Forester other than those to be filled by direct recruitment shall be filled by promotion of Beat Officers to the extent of 50% and by appointment by transfer of Junior Assistants, Junior Stenos, Typists, and other equivalent categories in the Ministerial Service to the extent of 15%". | "The vacancies in the category of Forester (Forest Section Officer) shall be filled by promotion of Forest Beat Officers to the extent of 85% and by appointment by transfer of Junior Assistants, Junior Stenos, Typists, and other equivalent categories in the Ministerial Service to the extent of 15%". |
(2) In rule (3), under Column No. 2, 'Method of Appointment' against Class-A category 2 " (i) By direct recruitment" shall be deleted.
(3) In rule (3) the Note (1) (a) shall be deleted.
