BIENNIAL ELECTIONS TO THE TELANGANA LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL FROM HYDERABAD LOCAL AUTHORITIES' CONSTITUENCY AND MAHABUBNAGAR – RANGAREDDY – HYDERABAD TEACHERS' CONSTITUENCY – APPOINTMENT OF RETURNING OFFICERS / ASSISTANT RETURNING OFFICERS.

The following Notification of the Election Commission of India, Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi-110001, Dated 15th February, 2023, Magha 26, 1944 (Saka) is published:-
NOTIFICATION
No. 155/TL-LC/2023(1):– In pursuance of the provisions of Section 21 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India, in consultation with Government of Telangana, hereby makes following further amendments in its Notification No. 155/TL-LC/2015(1) dated 5th June, 2015, as amended from time to time, relating to appointment of Returning Officer for Council Constituencies in the State of Telangana :—
In the table appended to the said notification under the heading 'II-TEACHERS' CONSTITUENCIES' 2 TELANGANA GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part - V (a) Against entry "1 Mahabubnagar - Ranga Reddy - Hyderabad Teachers" of column (1), the existing entry in column (2), shall be substituted with "Additional Commissioner, (Revenue, Legal and Trade License), GHMC." In the table appended to the said notification under the heading 'III-LOCAL AUTHORITIES'
CONSTITUENCIES'
(a) Against entry "3 Hyderabad Local Authorities" of Column (1), the existing entry in column (2), shall be substituted with "Additional Commissioner, (Revenue, Legal and Trade License), GHMC."
