PROHIBITION OF STRIKES IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE TRANSMISSION CORPORATION OF TELANGANA LIMITED AND TWO DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES (i.e TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL) FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS WITH EFFECT FROM 25-02-2023.

In G.O.Rt.No.46, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Dated: 18-08-2022, Government have extended prohibition of strikes in public interest in all services in Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies (i.e TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL) in Telangana State under the provisions of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (A.P. Act No. 20 of 1971) for a period of six (6) months w.e.f. 25-08-2022.

In the circumstances reported by the Chairman & Managing Director, Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and after careful consideration of the matter, Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public interest in any services in Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies (i.e TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL) in Telangana State for a further period of six (6) months w.e.f. 25-02-2023.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of Section 3 of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes in all the services under the Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies (i.e TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL) for a further period of six (6) months with effect from 25-02-2023.

In the circumstances reported by the Chairman & Managing Director, Singareni Collieries Company Limited and after careful consideration of the matter, Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public interest in any services in Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Telangana State for a further period of six (6) months w.e.f. 11-03-2023.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of Section 3 of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes in all the services under the Singareni Collieries Company Limited for a further period of six (6) months with effect from 11-03-2023.
