"In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 3 read with sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Telangana State Minorities Commission Act, 1998 (Act No. 31 of 1998), the Governor of Telangana hereby appoint Shri. Tariq Ansari as Chairman of Telangana State Minorities Commission".
