INDIRECT ELECTIONS TO THE OFFICE OF CHAIRPERSON OF KOLLAPUR MUNICIPALITY IN NAGARKURNOOL DISTRICT.
No.704/TSEC-ULBs/2024,- In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-ZA of Constitution of India, read with Sections 194, 195(5) and Section 20 of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 2019 (Act 11 of 2019), and Rule 3, 4 and 11 of Telangana Municipalities (Conduct of Election of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Municipal Council and Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation) Rules, 2020 as amended vide G.O. Ms.No. 07, of MA&UD (MA) Department, dt: 31.01.2024, the State Election Commissioner, hereby, directs that, a Gazetted Officer of the Government specifically authorized by the District Collector for this purpose shall conduct election to the casual vacancy in the office of Chairperson, Kollapur Municipality in Nagarkurnool District in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said Act and Rules and fixes the schedule for the said election in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

Mayor of Municipal Corporation) Rules, 2020.
