In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of Telangana Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1993 (Act. No. 20 of 1993) as amended by Telangana Commission for Backward Classes (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Act. No.6 of 2017), Government hereby constitute with immediate effect the Telangana Commission for Backward Classes with the following composition :-

The BC Commission is designated as dedicated commission for BC enumeration to determine reservations in local bodies.
The terms of reference of the Commission will be issued separately by the BC Welfare Department.
