CONSTITUTION OF STATE DISASTER MITIGATION FUND ( SDMF ) UNDER THE SECTION 48 ( 1 ) ( c) OF DISASTER MANAGEMENT ACT, 2005 .

In exercise of the powers conferred under clause ( c ) of sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 48 of the Disaster Management Act , 2005 ( Central Act No.53 of 2005 ) , the Government of Telangana hereby constitute the State Disaster Mitigation Fund ( SDMF) for the use of local level and community based interventions which reduces risks and promote environment friendly settlements and livelihood practices .
