IMPLEMENTATION OF SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME TO CINE WORKERS IN TELANGANA STATE WITH A COVERAGE OF Rs . 5 LAKHS ACCIDENTAL DEATH INSURANCE .

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 3 (4) of the Unorganized Workers ' Social Security Act, 2008 , the Government of Telangana hereby order for implementation of Social security scheme to cine workers with a coverage of Rs.5,00,000/- ( Rupees five lakhs only ) Accidental Death Insurance , in Telangana State as follows:
1. Name of the welfare scheme : "Accidental Death Relief Scheme for registered Cine Workers"
2. Beneficiary of the Scheme: Cine workers and their nominee / dependent / legal heirs registered with Telangana State Social Security Board for Unorganised Workers .
3. Beneficiary amount :
An amount of Rs.5,00,000/- ( Rupees five lakhs only) shall be paid as relief to the nominee / dependent / legal heirs of the deceased registered Cine worker who dies in an accident or due to the injuries caused by an accident occurring either at work place or anywhere else.

7.Claim sanctioning authority: Designated officer of Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited , Hyderabad.
8. Documents to submit:
In case of Accidental Death Relief scheme , the Nominee / dependent / legal heir shall submit prescribed application form to the concerned designated officer along with the original registration card , death certificate , FIR / Post mortem report and the supporting documents i.e House hold ration card / Adhaar Card as a proof of the nominee / dependent declared by the worker in his registration application form . In case of no nominee or dependent is claiming the amount, the legal heir of the deceased shall submit the Legal Heir Certificate to claim the benefit amount under the scheme along with the above documents .
The Commissioner of Labour , Telangana , Hyderabad shall take further necessary action in the matter accordingly.
This order issues with the concurrence of Finance ( EBS.X) Department vide their U.O.No.3322636 / 87 /A2 / EBS.X /25 , dated : 26.09.2025.
