APPOINTMENT OF THE TELANGANA FOREST DEVELOPMENT COPORATION LIMITED , HYDERABAD AS AN AGENT TO THE GOVERNMENT OF TELANGANA FOR THE 2026 BEEDI LEAF SEASON .
[G.O.Rt.No. 90, Environment, Forests , Science & Technology (FOR.I), 16th October, 2025.] In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 4 of the Telangana Minor Forest Produce ( Regulation of Trade ) Act , 1971 (Act No.4 of 1971 ) read with rule 3 of the Telangana Minor Forest Produce (Regulation of Trade in Abnus leaves ) Rules , 1970 , Government hereby appoint the Telangana Forest Development Corporation Limited , Hyderabad as an Agent on behalf of Government of Telangana to call for tenders for purchase of Abnus Leaves and trade in Abnus Leaves for implementation of the Beedi Leaf Scheme in the State of Telangana for the 2026 Season .
