ADHOC RULES FOR THE POST OF MARSHAL IN LEGISLATURE SECRETARIAT AMENDMENT.
[G.O.Ms.No. 45, Legislature ( O.P.I) , Secretariat, 26th November, 2025.]
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( 3) of Article 187 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Telangana , after consultation with the Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council and the Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly , hereby makes the following amendment to the Ad - hoc rules to the post of Marshal in the Telangana Legislature Secretariat issued in G.O.Ms. No.52 , Legislature ( O.P.I ) Secretariat , dated 09.09.1993 .
AMENDMENT
In the said rules , in rule 3 , after sub- rule ( i) the following sub - rule shall be added , namely , --
" ( i) ( a) if no eligible Deputy Marshal is available in the Legislature Secretariat , Section Officers in the Legislature Secretariat , who are approved probationers , shall be considered for appointment by transfer based on merit and ability . Seniority being considered where merit and ability are approximately equal ; " .
