EXTENDING THE AREA OF GHMC TO THE ENTIRE CITY OF TELANGANA CORE URBAN REGION .
[G.O.Ms.No. 264, Metropolitan Area & Urban Development (MA) 3rd December, 2025.] In exercise of the powers conferred under sub - section ( 1) of Section 3 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act , 1955 (Act No. II of 1956 ) , and as subsequently amended from time to time , the Government of Telangana hereby notifies that the territorial limits of the existing Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation shall be extended to cover the entire City of the Telangana Core Urban Region , as defined under sub - section ( 3B ) of Section 3 of the Act , and shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 02.12.2025 .
