संख्या-930 / xxxi ( 15 ) G / 25-13 (सा 0) / 2015- राज्यपाल , जनगणना नियम 1990 के नियम 8 (i ) के अन्तर्गत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा अधिसूचित जनगणना कराने के आशय को उत्तराखण्ड राज्य के राजपत्र में निम्नानुसार पुनः प्रकाशित करते है:-

का.आ. 2681 (अ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार, जनगणना अधिनियम, 1948 (1948 का 37) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत के राजपत्र असाधारण, भाग 2 , खंड 3 उपखण्ड (ii) तारीख 28 मार्च , 2019 में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय (भारत के महारजिस्ट्रार का कार्यालय ) की अधिसूचना संख्यांक का.आ. 1455 (अ) तारीख 26 मार्च, 2019 के अधिक्रमण में, उन बातों के सिवाय जिन्हें ऐसे अधिकमण से पहले किया गया हैं या करने का लोप किया गया है , यह घोषणा करती है कि भारत की जनसंख्या की जनगणना वर्ष 2027 के दौरान की जाएगी ।
2. उक्त जनगणना के लिए संदर्भ तारीख , संघ राज्यक्षेत्र लद्दाख के और संघ राज्यक्षेत्र जम्मू- कश्मीर तथा हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं उत्तराखण्ड राज्यों के हिमाच्छादित. असमकालिक क्षेत्रों के सिवाय , मार्च, 2027 के पहले दिन के 00.00 बजे होगी ।
3. संघ राज्यक्षेत्र लद्दाख के लिए और संघ राज्यक्षेत्र जम्मू- कश्मीर तथा हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं उत्तराखण्ड राज्यों के हिमाच्छादित असमकालिक क्षेत्रों के लिए संदर्भ तारीख अक्टूबर, 2026 के पहले दिन के 00.00 बजे होगी ।

No. 930/XXXI ( 15) G / 25-13 ( GAD) / 2015 -- In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 8 ( i ) of the Census Rules 1990, the Governor is pleased to republish the intention of taking a census notified by the Central Government , in the official gazette of the State ofUttarakhand as follows: - (2)

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 16th June , 2025
S.O. 2681 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section - 3 of the Census Act , 1948 (37 of 1948 ) , and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs (Office of the Registrar General , India) number S.O. 1455 (E ) , dated the 26th March , 2019 published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, Part II , section 3 , sub - section (ii) , dated the 28th March , 2019, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession , the Central Government hereby declares that a census of the population of India shall be taken during the year 2027 .
2. The reference date for the said census shall be 00:00 hours of the 1st day ofMarch, 2027 , except for the Union territory of Ladakh and snow - bound non- synchronous areas of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the States ofHimachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
3 . In respect of the Union territory of Ladakh and snow - bound non- synchronous areas of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the States of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand , the reference date shall be 00:00 hours of the 1st day of October , 2026.
