राज्यपाल , भारतीय वन अधिनियम, 1927 (अधिनियम संख्या-16 वर्ष 1927) की धारा 29 की उपधारा (1 ) एवं (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुये उक्त अधिनियम के अध्याय 4 के प्रयोजनार्थ जनपद अल्मोड़ा में शहीद हरि सिंह मोटर मार्ग तौलबुधानी से रतखाल तक मोटर मार्ग के निर्माण हेतु 2.52 है० हस्तान्तरित वन भूमि के सापेक्ष क्षतिपूरक वृक्षारोपण हेतु जिलाधिकारी, अल्मोड़ा द्वारा वन विभाग को हस्तान्तरित की गयी राज्य सरकार के स्वामित्व की श्रेणी-9 (3 )ङ (अन्य कारणों से बंजर भूमि) 5.040 है० भूमि, जिसका विवरण नीचे तालिका में दिया गया है, को वन भूमि के साथ - साथ संरक्षित वन घोषित करते हैं:-

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) and (2 ) of section 29 of Indian Forest Act 1927 , (Act - 16 of 1927 ) for the purpose of Chapter- 4 of the said Act, the Governor is pleased to declare the government owned category 9 (3) anga land (for other agricultural use barren land) total 5.040 hectare as forest land as well as protected, forest , which was transferred by District Collector of Almora to the forest department for compensatory plantation against the 2.52 hectare Reserve Forest land transferred respectively for the construction of road from Shahid Hari Singh Motor Road - Taulbudhani to Ratkhal in District Almora , whose area and boundary details are given in the table below .
