राज्यपाल , भारतीय वन अधिनियम , 1927 (अधिनियम संख्या -16 वर्ष 1927) की धारा 29 की उपधारा (1 ) एवं (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुये उक्त अधिनियम के अध्याय 4 के प्रयोजनार्थ जनपद उत्तरकाशी में प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना के अंतर्गत बिजोरी - भौंती मोटर मोटर मार्ग के निर्माण हेतु हस्तान्तरित 02.758 है 0 वन भूमि के सापेक्ष क्षतिपूरक वृक्षारोपण हेतु जिलाधिकारी , उत्तरकाशी द्वारा वन विभाग को हस्तान्तरित की गयी राज्य सरकार के स्वामित्व की श्रेणी-9 (3 ) ङ (अन्य कारणों से बंजर भूमि) की 05.516 है ० भूमि, जिसका विवरण नीचे तालिका में दिया गया है , को वन भूमि के साथ- साथ संरक्षित वन घोषित करते हैं:-

In pursuance of the provision of Clause ( 3) of article 348 of the Constitution of India , the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Notification No. 1856 /X -3-25/ 01 ( 157) /2018- E- 86830 , Dehradun dated September 23 , 2025 for general information:

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) and (2) of section 29 of Indian Forest Act 1927 , (Act - 16 of 1927) for the purpose of Chapter - 4 of the said Act, the Governor is pleased to declare the government owned category 9 (3 ) anga land ( for other agricultural use barren land) total 05.516 hectare as forest land as well as protected forest, which was transferred by District Collector of Uttarkashi to the forest department for compensatory plantation against the 02.758 hectare Reserve Forest land transferred repectively for the construction of Bijori - Bhonti Motor Road in District Uttarkashi , whose area and boundary details are given in the table below.
