संख्या-1684 / XX - 5-2025-03 ( 16) 2025- राज्यपाल समान नागरिक संहिता , उत्तराखण्ड, 2024 की धारा 48 के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके समान नागरिक संहिता नियमावली, उत्तराखण्ड, 2025 में संशोधन करने के दृष्टिगत् निम्नलिखित नियमावली बनाते हैं, अर्थात्:-
समान नागरिक संहिता (तुतीय संशोधन) नियमावली , उत्तराखण्ड, 2025
संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ
1. (1 ) इस नियमावली का संक्षिप्त नाम समान नागरिक संहिता (तृतीय संशोधन) नियमावली, उत्तराखण्ड , 2025 है ।
(2) यह तुरन्त प्रवृत्त होगी।
नियम 9 का संशोधन
2. नागरिक संहिता नियमावली , उत्तराखण्ड , 2025 के नियम 9 के उपनियम (4) में खण्ड (ख ) के पश्चात् नया खण्ड (ग) को निम्नवत् अन्तःस्थापित कर दिया जाएगा, अर्थात्ः-
" (ग) नेपाली / भूटानी / तिब्बती नागरिकों के विवाह पंजीकरण हेतु निम्नलिखित दस्तावेज / अभिलेख की आवश्यकता होगीः-
(i) नेपाली/ भूटानी नागरिकों हेतु नेपाली / भूटानी नागरिकता प्रमाण- पत्र अथवा भारत में 182 दिन से ज्यादा ठहरने के लिए नेपाली मिशन / रॉयल भूटानी मिशन द्वारा जारी सीमित वैध पहचान प्रमाण-पत्र ,
( ii) तिब्बती नागरिकों हेतु विदेशी पंजीकरण अधिकारी द्वारा जारी वैध पंजीकरण प्रमाण- पत्र/ आवासीय अनुज्ञा- पत्र । "

In pursuance of the provision of clause ( 3 ) of article 348 of " the Constitution of India " , the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Notification No. 1684 /XX - 5- 2025-03 (16 ) 2025 Dated- November 17 , 2025 for general Information .

Number -1684/ XX - 5-2025-03 ( 16) 2025 -- In exercise of the powers under section 48 of the Uniform Civil Code , Uttarakhand , 2024 , the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amend the Uniform Civil Code Rules , Uttarakhand , 2025 , namely: - (2)
The Uniform Civil Code (Third Amendment ) Rules, Uttarakhand, 2025
( 1 ) These rules may be called the Uniform Civil Code (Third Amendment) Rules , Uttarakhand, 2025.
Short title and 1 commencemen t
(2) It shall come into force at once .
Amendment of 2 Rule 9
In sub - rule (4) of rule 9 of the Uniform Civil Code Rules , Uttarakhand, 2025 , after clauses (b ) , a new clause (c) shall be inserted as follows, namely: -
"(c) The following documents/records shall be required for marriage registration of Nepali/Bhutanese /Tibetan citizens : -
(i) For Nepali/Bhutanese citizens valid Nepali/Bhutanese citizenship certificate or Identity Certificate of limited validity issued by Nepal Mission/Royal Bhutanese Mission for stay exceeding 182 days in India.
( ii) For Tibetan citizens valid Registration Certificate/Residential permit issued by the Foreigners Registration Officer.
