राज्यपाल , भारतीय वन अधिनियम, 1927 (अधिनियम संख्या-16 वर्ष 1927) की धारा 29 की उपधारा (1) एवं (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुये उक्त अधिनियम के अध्याय 4 के प्रयोजनार्थ जनपद अल्मोड़ा में विधानसभा सल्ट के अंतर्गत स्वतन्त्रता संग्राम सेनानियों के ग्राम थलमाड़ को मुख्य मोटर मार्ग से जोड़ने हेतु मोटर मार्ग के निर्माण हेतु हस्तान्तरित 02.205 है० वन भूमि के सापेक्ष क्षतिपूरक वृक्षारोपण हेतु जिलाधिकारी , अल्मोड़ा द्वारा वन विभाग को हस्तान्तरित की गई राज्य सरकार के स्वामित्व की श्रेणी 10 (4) (बंजर काबिल आबाद) की 04.410 भूमि, जिसका विवरण नीचे तालिका में दिया गया है, को वन भूमि के साथ- साथ संरक्षित वन घोषित करते हैं:-

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) and (2) of section 29 of Indian Forest Act 1927, (Act No. 16 of 1927) , the Governor is pleased to declare 04.410 hectare land of category- 10(4) (Banjar Kabil Aabad) owned by the State Government, transferred by District Magistrate , Almora to the Forest Department for compensatory plantation in respect of 02.205 hectare forest land transferred for the construction of motor road to connect the freedom fighter's village Thalmad to the main road in Tehsil Salt of District Almora, details of which are given in the table below , as forest land as well as protected forest, for the purposes of Chapter IV of the said Act.
