राज्यपाल , भारतीय वन अधिनियम , 1927 (अधिनियम संख्या -16 वर्ष 1927) की धारा 29 की उपधारा (1 ) एवं (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुये उक्त अधिनियम के अध्याय 4 के प्रयोजनार्थ जनपद नैनीताल की तहसील नैनीताल में जैना से चन्द्रकोट धूरा मोटर मार्ग के निर्माण हेतु हस्तान्तरित 01.629 है ० वन भूमि के सापेक्ष क्षतिपूरक वृक्षारोपण हेतु जिलाधिकारी , नैनीताल द्वारा वन विभाग को हस्तान्तरित की गयी राज्य सरकार के स्वामित्व की श्रेणी-9 (3 )ङ की 03.258 है० भूमि, जिसका विवरण नीचे तालिका में दिया गया है, को वन भूमि के साथ- साथ संरक्षित वन घोषित करते हैं:-

2- संरक्षित वन का सीमांकन एवं स्तम्भ निर्माण किया जायेगा ।
3- उपरोक्त तालिका में उल्लिखित क्षेत्र भू- अभिलेखों में वन विभाग के नाम स्थानांतरित किये जाने वाले किसी भी प्रकार की अधिकार एवं रियायतों के दावों से मुक्त है ।

NOTIFICATION
Inexercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) and ( 2) of section 29 of the Indian Forest Act 1927, (Act - 16 of 1927 ) the Governor is pleased to declare the government owned category 9 (3 ) e 03.258 hectare land as forest land as well as protected forest, which was transferred by District Collector of Nainital to the forest department for compensatory plantation against the 01.629 hectare Reserve Forest land transferred for the construction of motor road from village Jaina to Chandrakote Dhura in Tehsil Nainital of District Nainital for the purpose of Chapter- 4 of the said Act , details of which isgiven in the table below .
