साधारण खण्ड अधिनियम, 1897 (अधिनियम संख्या 10 सन् 1897) की धारा 21 और जी0एस0आर0-2013(ई), दिनांक 20 मार्च, 2015 के अधीन प्रकाशित उपभोक्ता मामले, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण मंत्रालय, (खाद्य एवं सार्वजनिक वितरण विभाग) भारत सरकार की अधिसूचना के साथ पठित आवश्यक वस्तु अधिनियम, 1955 (अधिनियम संख्या 10 सन् 1955) की धारा 3 के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके राज्यपाल उत्तर प्रदेश आवश्यक वस्तु (विक्रय एवं वितरण नियंत्रण का विनियमन) आदेश, 2016 में संशोधन करने की दृष्टि से निम्नलिखित आदेश देते हैं।

(द्वितीय संशोधन) आदेश, 2020
1-(1) यह आदेश उत्तर प्रदेश आवश्यक वस्तु (विक्रय एवं वितरण नियंत्रण का संक्षिप्त नाम, विस्तार और प्रारम्भ विनियमन) (द्वितीय संशोधन) आदेश, 2020 कहा जायेगा।
(2) इसका विस्तार सम्पूर्ण उत्तर प्रदेश में होगा। 2 उत्तर प्रदेश असाधारण गजट, 2 जुलाई, 2020 2-उत्तर प्रदेश आवश्यक वस्तु (विक्रय एवं वितरण नियंत्रण का विनियमन) आदेश, खण्ड 2 का संशोधन 2016 में खण्ड 2 में नीचे स्तम्भ-1 में दिये गये उपखण्ड (ण) के स्थान पर स्तम्भ-2 में दिया गया उप खण्ड रख दिया जायेगा अर्थात् :- स्तम्भ-1 स्तम्भ-2
(ण) "उचित मूल्य की दुकान के मालिक" का तात्पर्य किसी व्यक्ति से है, और इसमें आदेश के उपबंधों के अधीन नियुक्त उचित मूल्य की दुकान को चलाने के लिये प्राधिकृत कोई सहकारी समिति भी सम्मिलित है।
(ण) "उचित मूल्य की दुकान के मालिक" का तात्पर्य किसी व्यक्ति से है, और इसमें इस आदेश के उपबंधों के अधीन नियुक्त उचित मूल्य की दुकान को चलाने के लिये प्राधिकृत कोई सहकारी समिति और स्वयं सहायता समूह सम्मिलित हैं।

IN exercise of the powers conferred under section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (Act no. 10 of 1955) read with the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (Departyment of Food and Public Distribution) published under GSR-2013 (E), dated March 20, 2015 and section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897), the Governor is pleased to make the following Order with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Order, 2016.
THE UTTAR PRADESH ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES (REGULATION OF SALE AND DISTRIBUTION CONTROL) (SECOND AMENDMENT) ORDER, 2020 Short title,
1. (1) This Order may be called the Uttar Pradesh Essential Commodities extent and
(Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) (Second Amendment) Order, 2020.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.
(3) It shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the Gazette.
Amendment of
2. In the Uttar Pradesh Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and clause 2
Distribution Control) Order, 2016, in clause in clause 2 for sub-clause (O) set out in Column-1 below, the sub-clause as set out in Column-2 shall be substituted, namely :-

Existing sub-clause Sub-clause as hereby substituted (O) "Fair Price Shop Owner" means a person and includes a co- operative society authorized to run a fair price shop appointed under provisions of this order.
