साधारण खण्ड अधिनियम, 1897 (अधिनियम संख्या 10 सन् 1897) की धारा 21 और उार प्रदेश मोटरयान नियमावली अधिनियम, 1998 के नियम 55 के उप नियम (8) के साथ पठित मोटरयान अधिनियम, 1988 (अधिनियम संख्या 59 सन् 1988) की धारा 68 की उपधारा (1) और (2) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके, राज्यपाल समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित सरकारी अधिसूचना संख्या 2104/तीस-4-08-113/89, दिनांक 29 जनवरी, 2009 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करतीे हैं :-

पूर्वाेक्त अधिसूचना में, शीर्षक 'राज्य परिवहन प्राधिकरण' के अधीन क्रम संख्या 1 की प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रख दी जायेगी, अर्थात :-
परिवहन आयुक्त, उत्तर प्रदेश अध्यक्ष
आज्ञा से, राजेश कुमार सिंह, प्रमुख सचिव। 2 उत्तर प्रदेश असाधारण गजट, 21 जुलाई, 2020 IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 8/2020/730/ XXX- 4– 2020-113/89TC, dated July 21, 2020.

IN exercise of the powers under sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 68 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 ( Act no. 59 of 1988) read with sub rule (8) of rule 55 of the Uttar Pradesh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1998 and section-21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (UP Act no. X of 1897), the Governor is pleased to make the following amendment in Government notification no. 2104/XXX-4–08-113/89, dated January 29, 2009 as amended from time to time.
AMENDMENT
IN the aforesaid notification, under the heading the State Transport Authority for the entry at serial no. 1 the following entry shall be subtituted, namely:-
Transport Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh Chairman
