लोक निर्माण अनुभाग-2 ———— संख्या 256/23-2-2020-34(सा0)-2020 लखनऊ, 27 जुलाई, 2020 ———— अधिसूचना
चूँकि राज्य सरकार की यह राय है कि जिला मीरजापुर में गंगा नदी पर स्थित गांगपुर घाट पर एक नए सार्वजनिक नौघाट की आवश्यकता है;
अतएव, अब, उत्तरी भारत नौघाट अधिनियम, 1878 (अधिनियम संख्या 17 सन् 1878) की धारा 4 के खण्ड (ग) और (घ) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके, राज्यपाल इस अधिसूचना के गजट में प्रकाशित किये जाने के दिनांक से नीचे अनुसूची में यथा दर्शित सीमाओं के भीतर जिला मीरजापुर में गांगपुर घाट पर एक नया सार्वजनिक नौघाट स्थापित करती हैं।
उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 6 के अधीन, राज्यपाल अग्रतर निदेश देती हैं कि पूर्वोक्त दिनांक से, जिला मीरजापुर में गांगपुर घाट पर पूर्वोक्त सार्वजनिक नौघाट का तत्कालिक अधीक्षण, अधीक्षण अभियन्ता, मीरजापुर वृत्त, लोक निर्माण विभाग, मीरजापुर में निहित होगा।

THE Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 256/XXIII-II–2020-34(Sa)-2020, dated July 27, 2020 for general information:
No. 256/XXIII-II–2020-34(Sa)-2020
Dated Lucknow, July 27, 2020
WHEREAS the State Government is of the opinion that a new public ferry is needed on the river Ganga at Gangpur Ghat in district Mirzapur;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clauses (c) and (d) of section 4 of the Northern India Ferries Act, 1878 (Act no. XVII of 1878), the Governor is pleased to establish, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette, a new public ferry on the Gangpur Ghat in district Mirzapur within its limits as shown in the Schedule below.
Under section 6 of the said Act, the Governor is further pleased to direct that with effect from the aforesaid date, the immediate superintendence of the aforesaid public ferry at Gangpur Ghat in district Mirzapur shall vest in the Superintending Engineer, Mirzapur Circle, Lok Nirman Vibhag, Mirzapur.
