NOTIFICATION

No. 429/U.P./2016:- IN exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13B of the Representation of People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India hereby makes following amendments in its Notification no. 429/U.P./2016, dated 30th August, 2016, as amended from time to time relating to the appointments of Electoral Registration Officers of Assembly Constituencies in the State of Uttar Pradesh, namely :-

In Column-2 of the table appended to the said notification the existing entry "Assistant Record Officer, Obra", against item No. 402-Obra (S.T.) of Column-1 shall be substituted with the entry "Sub Divisional Officer, Obra".

In Column (2) of the table appended to the said notification, the existing entries mentioned against the name of Assembly Constituency given below shall be substituted with the entries in Column-2 of the Table below:-

सं0 429/उ0प्र0/2016 - लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1950 (1950 का 43) की धारा 13ख की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग, एतद्‌द्वारा, उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के निर्वाचक रजिस्ट्रीकरण अधिकारी की नियुक्ति से सम्बन्धित, समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित अपनी अधिसूचना संख्या 429/उ0प्र0/2016, दिनांक 30 अगस्त, 2016 में निम्नवत्‌ संशोधन करता है, अर्थात्‌ः-

उक्त अधिसूचना की संलग्न सारणी के स्तम्भ-2 में, स्तम्भ सं0 1 की मद संख्या 402-ओबरा (अ0ज0जा0) के सामने विद्यमान प्रविष्टि ''सहायक अभिलेख अधिकारी, ओबरा'' प्रविष्टि ''उप जिलाधिकारी, ओबरा'' के द्वारा प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी।

सं0 429/उ0प्र0/2016(1) - लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1950 (1950 का 43) की धारा 13(ग) की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्‌द्वारा, उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के सहायक निर्वाचक रजिस्ट्रीकरण अधिकारी की नियुक्ति से सम्बन्धित, समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित अपनी अधिसूचना संख्या 429/उ0प्र0/2016(1), दिनांक 30 अगस्त, 2016 में और संशोधन करता है, अर्थात्‌ः-
