अधिसूचना

उत्तर प्रदेश नगर निगम अधिनियम, 1959 (उत्तर प्रदेश अधिनियम संख्या 2 सन्‌ 1959) की धारा 3 की उपधारा (2) के साथ पठित भारत का संविधान के अनुच्छेद 243-थ के खण्ड (2) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके, राज्यपाल, यह घोषणा करती हैं कि नीचे अनुसूची-1 में विनिर्दिष्ट क्षेत्र और सीमायें, भारत का संविधान के भाग 9''क'' के प्रयोजनार्थ विस्तारित किये जाने वाले नगर निगम, गोरखपुर, जिला गोरखपुर में सम्मिलित किये गये क्षेत्र होंगे और वे नगर निगम, गोरखपुर, जिला गोरखपुर के प्रादेशिक क्षेत्र होंगे और संविधान के अनुच्छेद 243-त के खण्ड (घ) के अधीन अग्रतर अधिसूचित करती हैं कि नीचे अनुसूची-2 में विनिर्दिष्ट क्षेत्र और सीमायें, उक्त नगर निगम के प्रादेशिक क्षेत्र होंगे।

अनुसूची-2 अनुसूची-1 में विनिर्दिष्ट क्षेत्र को सम्मिलित किये जाने के पश्चात्‌ नगर निगम, गोरखपुर, जिला-गोरखपुर के प्रादेशिक क्षेत्र की सीमा।

नगर निगम-गोरखपुर, जिला-गोरखपुर की विद्यमान सीमा निम्नवत है :- उत्तर-झुंगिया दक्षिण-भरवलिया खुर्द पूर्व-महादेव झारखण्डी टुकड़ा संख्या-02 पश्चिम-नौसड़ नगर निगम-'गोरखपुर, जिला-गोरखपुर की विस्तारित बाहरी सीमा रेखा :- उत्तर-गुलरिहा, जंगल बहादुर अली, सन्झाई। दक्षिण-गायघाट खुर्द, बड़गो। पूर्व-रानीडीहा, खोराबार उर्फ सूबा बाजार। पश्चिम-चकरा दोयम, चकरा सेयम।

इस प्रकार उपर्युक्त ग्रामों के समस्त गाटा संख्याओं से सीमा प्रारम्भ होती है, जिसके अधीन आच्छादित कुल क्षेत्रफल-2791.1586 हेक्टेयर है।

IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 1147/IX-7–2020- 1051-2020(R), dated December 20, 2020 :

IN exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution of India read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1959 (U.P Act no. 2 of 1959), the Governor is pleased to declare that the area and boundaries specified in Schedule-I below shall be included in the area of Nagar Nigam Gorakhpur, District Gorakhpur that will be extended and shall be included in the territorial area of Nagar Nigam Gorakhpur in the District Gorakhpur for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution of India and is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that area and boundaries specified in Schedule-II bellow shall be the territorial area of the said Nagar Nigam.
