चू ँकि भारतीय वन अधिनियम,1927(अधिनियम संख्या 16 सन् 1927), जिसे आगे उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है, के अधीन सरकारी अधिसूचना संख्या 23(3)-51/14-ख-68, दिनांक 25 जुलाई, 1968 द्वारा नीचे अनुसूची 'क' में उल्लिखित भूमि को 'आरक्षित वन' बनाने का प्रस्ताव किया गया था;
और चू ँकि दावा करने के लिये नियत अवधि (cid:7390)पगत हो चुकी है ;
और चू ँकि ऐसा कोई दावा स्वीकार नह(cid:7277) किया गया है, किन्तु इसमें उपाब(cid:7373) अनुसूची 'ख' में उल्लिखित सीमा तक, रियायत अनु(cid:6980)ात की गयी है, जो राज्य सरकार के प्रसादानुसार वापस ली जा सकती है ;
अतएव, अब, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 20 के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके राज्यपाल घोषणा करती हैं कि नीचे अनुसूची 'क' में उल्लिखित 4.540 हेक्टेयर भूमि, इस अधिसूचना के गजट में प्रकाशित किये जाने के दिनांक से 'आरक्षित वन' होगा । 2 उत्तर प्रदेश असाधारण गजट, 21 दिसम्बर, 2020

IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of the Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 2658/LXXXI-2–2020-20(04)-2020, dated December 21, 2020:
No. 2658/LXXXI-2–2020-20(04)-2020
Dated Lucknow, December 21, 2020
WHEREAS vide Government notification no. 23(3)-51/XIV-B-68 dated 25th July, 1968 it was proposed to make the land mentioned in Schedule- 'A' below, as 'Reserved Forest' under the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Act no. 16 of 1927), hereinafter referred to as the said Act;
AND, WHEREAS, the period fixed for preferring claims has elapsed;
AND, WHEREAS, no such claim has been accepted but the concession to the extent of the limit mentioned in Schedule- 'B' annexed herewith has been allowed which may be withdrawn at the pleasure of the State Government;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under section 20 of the said Act, the Governor is pleased to declare that 4.540 Hectares of land mentioned in Schedule-'A' below, shall be 'a Reserved Forest' with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
