अधिसूचना
चूँकि संयुक्त प्रान्त मेला अधिनियम, 1938 (संयुक्त प्रान्त अधिनियम संख्या 16, सन् 1938) की धारा 2 के परन्तुक की अपेक्षानुसार आपत्तियाँ और सुझाव आमंत्रित किये जाने की दृष्टि से सरकारी अधिसूचना संख्या 1974/9-1-2019-72मेला-2018, दिनांक 11 नवम्बर, 2019 को जारी एवं तद्दिनांक को गजट में प्रकाशित की गयी थी;
और, चूॅँकि, कोई आपत्ति या सुझाव निर्धारित समय के भीतर प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है;
अतएव, अब, संयुक्त प्रान्त मेला अधिनियम 1938 (संयुक्त प्रान्त अधिनियम संख्या 16, सन् 1938) की धारा 2 के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके, राज्यपाल जिला हरदोई में प्रत्येक वर्ष कार्तिक मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी से पूर्णिमा तक आयोजित होने वाले बेरिया घाट मेला को प्रान्तीय मेला घोषित करती हैं। उक्त अधिनियम के समस्त उपबंध नीचे विस्तृत रूप से वर्णित क्षेत्र में उक्त अवधि के दौरान प्रवर्तित होंगे :-
उत्तर-गाटा संख्या-497 की भूमि दक्षिण-गाटा संख्या-256, गंगा नदी की भूमि पूरब-ग्राम शाहपुर पंवार पश्चिम-ग्राम माहिमपुर

Dated Lucknow, January 29, 2021
WHEREAS, Government notification no. 1974/IX-1–2019-72Mela-2018, dated November 11, 2019 was issued and published in the Gazette on the same date with a view to inviting objections and suggestions thereon as required under the proviso to section 2 of the United Provinces Mela Act, 1938 (U.P. Act no. XVI of 1938);
AND, WHEREAS, no objection or suggestion has been received within the stipulated time;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under section 2 of the United Provinces Mela Act, 1938 (U.P. Act no. XVI of 1938), the Governor is pleased to declare Beriya Ghat Mela, as provincial mela in district Hardoi held from Ekadashi to Poornima in the Shukla Paksh of the Kartik month, every year. All the provisions of the said Act shall come into operation during the said period in the area detailed below ः-
