अधिसूचना
उत्तर प्रदेश अधिनियम संख्या 29 सन् 1974 द्वारा यथा संशोधित और पुनः अधिनियमित उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम, 1973 (राष्ट्रपति अधिनियम संख्या 10 सन् 1973) की धारा 4 की उपधारा (1-क) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके राज्यपाल, दिनांक 15 जून, 2021 को ऐसा दिनांक नियत करती हैं जिस दिनांक को आजमगढ़ राज्य विश्वविद्यालय, आजमगढ़ स्थापित किया जायेगा।
इस अधिसूचना के जारी किये जाने के पश्चात् उक्त दिनांक से आजमगढ़ राज्य विश्वविद्यालय, आजमगढ़ की अधिकारिता के अधीन आच्छादित समस्त जिलों के महाविद्यालय, इस विश्वविद्यालय से स्वतः सम्बद्ध हो जायेंगे। उक्त धारा की उपधारा (6) के अधीन राज्यपाल अग्रतर निदेश देती हैं कि वीर बहादुर सिंह पूर्वांचल विश्वविद्यालय, जौनपुर, परीक्षा परिणामों की घोषणा हेतु आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं करेगा और तत्पश्चात् ऐसी घोषणा के आधार पर आजमगढ़ राज्य विश्वविद्यालय, आजमगढ़, वीर बहादुर सिंह पूर्वांचल विश्वविद्यालय, जौनपुर की उपाधि के लिये ऐसे किसी महाविद्यालय जो इस विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना से ठीक पूर्व इस विश्वविद्यालय की अधिकारिता में आता हो, में अध्ययनरत या उसकी परीक्षा में सम्मिलित होने हेतु पात्र किसी छात्र को अपनी उपाधि प्रदान करने के लिये पात्र होगा। 2 उत्तर प्रदेश असाधारण गजट, 28 अप्रैल, 2021 IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 610/LXX-1–2021-16(74)-2018 T.C., dated April 28, 2021 :

IN exercise of the powers under sub-section (1-A) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973 (President's Act no. 10 of 1973) as amended and re-enacted by U.P. Act no. 29 of 1974 , the Governor is pleased to appoint 15th June, 2021 as the date on which Azamgarh State University, Azamgarh shall be established.
After the issue of this notification, form the aforesaid date, the colleges of all the districts covered under the jurisdiction of Azamgarh State University, Azamgarh shall be automatically attached to this University.
Under sub-section (6) of section 4 of the aforesaid Act, the Governor is further pleased to direct that Veer Bahadur Singh Poorvanchal University, Jaunpur shall make necessary arrangements for declaration of examination results and after that Azamgarh State University, Azamgarh on the basis of such declaration shall be eligible to award its degree to any student of any degree college studying or was eligible to appear in the examination, for the degree of Veer Bahadur Singh Poorvanchal University, Jaunpur who falls in the jurisdiction of this University just before the establishment of this University.
