अधिसूचना

उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2019 (अधिनियम संख्या 35 सन्‌ 2019) की धारा 42 की उपधारा (1) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके राज्यपाल, राज्य उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग की स्थापना करती हैं जो दिनांक 20 जुलाई, 2020 से भूतलक्षी प्रभाव से प्रभावी होगा।

2-उक्त के अतिरिक्त, उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2019 के प्रारम्भ होने के पूर्व राज्य उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग में नियुक्त अध्यक्ष एवं सदस्य पूर्वोक्त अधिनियम की धारा 45 में यथा उपबंधित रूप में राज्य उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग के अध्यक्ष एवं सदस्य के रूप में पद धारण करते रहेंगे।

IN exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of section 42 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (Act no. 35 of 2019), the Governor is pleased to establish the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission which shall be effective with retrospective effect from July 20, 2020.

2. IN addition to the above, the President and members appointed in the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission appointed before the commencement of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 shall continue to hold office as the President and members of the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission as provided in section 45 of the aforesaid Act.
