अधिसूचना
चूँकि राज्य सरकार की यह राय है कि जिला बस्ती में सरयू नदी के घाट पर ठोकर संख्या 10 में एक नया सार्वजनिक नौघाट की आवश्यकता है;
अतएव, अब, उत्तरी भारत नौघाट अधिनियम, 1878 (अधिनियम संख्या 17 सन् 1878) की धारा 4 के खण्ड (ग) और (घ) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके, राज्यपाल इस अधिसूचना के गजट में प्रकाशित किये जाने के दिनांक से नीचे अनुसूची में यथादर्शित सीमाओं के भीतर जिला बस्ती में उक्त घाट पर ठोकर संख्या 10 में एक नया सार्वजनिक नौघाट स्थापित करती हैं।
पूर्वोक्त अधिनियम की धारा 6 के अधीन, राज्यपाल अग्रतर निदेश देती हैं कि पूर्वोक्त दिनांक से, जिला बस्ती में ठोकर संख्या 10 में उक्त घाट पर पूर्वोक्त सार्वजनिक नौघाट का तात्कालिक अधीक्षण, अधीक्षण अभियन्ता, बस्ती वृत्त, लोक निर्माण विभाग, बस्ती में निहित होगा।

THE Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 353/XXIII-2–21-45(Sa.)-2021, dated October 12, 2021 for general information :

Dated Lucknow, October 12, 2021
WHEREAS the State Government is of the opinion that a new public ferry is needed on the Saryu river at Thoker No. 10 Ghat in district Basti ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clauses (c) and (d) of section 4 of the Northern India Ferries Act, 1878 (Act no. 17 of 1878), the Governor is pleased to establish, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette, a new public ferry on the Thoker No. 10 Ghat in district Basti within its limits as shown in the Schedule below.
Under section 6 of the aforesaid Act, the Governor is further pleased to direct that with effect from the aforesaid date, the immediate superintendence of the aforesaid public ferry at Thoker No. 10 Ghat in district Basti shall vest in the Superintending Engineer, Basti Circle, Lok Nirman Vibhag, Basti.
