सामान्य प्रशासन अनुभाग ------ संख्या 611/तीन-2021-47-2 (1)-09 लखनऊ, 13 दिसम्बर, 2021 ------ अधिसूचना चूँकि भारतीय सेना का आसन फील्ड फायरिंग रेन्ज (एएफएफआर), जिला सहारनपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश के आरक्षित वन क्षेत्र में अवस्थित है ;

और, चूँकि, युद्धाभ्यास और खुले क्षेत्र में गोला चलाने तथा तोप दागने का अभ्यास अधिनियम, 1938 (अधिनियम संख्या 5 सन्‌ 1938) की धारा 9 की उपधारा (1) के अधीन, नीचे दी गई अनुसूची में उल्लिखित भूमि को ऐसे क्षेत्र, जिसमें कुछ शर्तों को पूरा किये जाने के अध्यधीन 1 जुलाई, 2020 से 30 जून, 2050 तक समय-समय पर गोला चलाने तथा तोप दागने का अभ्यास करने को प्राधि—त किया जा सकता है, के रूप में परिभाषित करते हुए एक अधिसूचना, अधिसूचना संख्या 1009/तीन-2020-47-2(1)-09, दिनांक 23 मार्च, 2021 द्वारा गजट में प्रकाशित की जा चुकी है;

अतएव, अब, पूर्वोक्त अधिनियम की धारा 9 की उपधारा (3) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके राज्यपाल नीचे अनुसूची में उल्लिखित सम्पूर्ण क्षेत्र अथवा उसके किसी विनिर्दिष्ट भाग में दिनांक 1 जुलाई, 2020 को प्रारम्भ होने वाली और 30 जून, 2050 को समाप्त होने वाली अवधि के दौरान गोला चलाने और तोप दागने का अभ्यास किया जाना प्राधि—त करते हुए इस अधिसूचना के गजट में प्रकाशित किये जाने के दिनांक से कम से कम दो माह की समाप्ति पर उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 9 की उपधारा (2) के अधीन अधिसूचना जारी करने का अपना आशय अधिसूचित करती हैं।461 RPH 2021 (Samanya Prasasan) Data 4e 2 उत्तर प्रदेश असाधारण गजट, 13 दिसम्बर, 2021 अनुसूची

:- उक्त भूमि का स्थल नक्शा सहारनपुर के कलेक्टर और प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी, शिवालिक वन प्रभाग, सहारनपुर के कार्यालय में देखा जा सकता है।

THE Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 611/III-2021-47-2(1)-09, dated December 13 , 2021 for general information :

No. 611/III-2021-47-2(1)-09

Dated Lucknow, December 13, 2021

WHEREAS the Asan Field Firing Range (AFFR) of the Indian Army is located in the reserved forest area of district Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh;

AND, WHEREAS, a notification under sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 (Act no. 5 of 1938) defining the land mentioned in the Schedule below as the area within which field firing and artillery practice can be authorized, periodically from the 1st day of July, 2020 to the 30th day of June, 2050 subject to fulfillment of certain conditions, has been published in the Gazette vide notification no. 1009/III-2020-47-2(1)-09, dated 23rd March, 2021;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under sub-section (3) of section 9 of the aforesaid Act, the Governor is pleased to notify his intention to issue, on the expiry of at least two months from the date of the publication of this notification in the Gazette, a notification under sub-section (2) of section 9 of the aforesaid Act authorizing the carrying out of field firing and artillery practice throughout the area mentioned in the Schedule below or any specified part thereof during the period commencing on the 1st day of July, 2020 ending on 30th June, 2050.

NOTE :– A site plan of the land specified above may be inspected in the Office of the Collector of Saharanpur and Divisional Forest Officer, Shivalik Van Prabhag, Saharanpur.
