अधिसूचना
पुलिस अधिनियम, 1861 (अधिनियम संख्या 5 सन् 1861) की धारा 2 और 7 के साथ पठित धारा 46 की उपधारा (2) और (3) के अधीन शक्तियों और इस निमित्त समस्त अन्य समर्थकारी शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके राज्यपाल, उत्तर प्रदेश अधीनस्थ श्रेणी के पुलिस अधिकारियों की (दण्ड और अपील) नियमावली, 1991 में संशोधन करने की दृष्टि से निम्नलिखित नियमावली बनाती हैं।
उत्तर प्रदेश अधीनस्थ श्रेणी के पुलिस अधिकारियों की (दण्ड और अपील) (चतुर्थ संशोधन) नियमावली, 2021
1-(1) यह नियमावली उत्तर प्रदेश अधीनस्थ श्रेणी के पुलिस अधिकारियों की (दण्ड और संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ अपील) (चतुर्थ संशोधन) नियमावली, 2021 कही जायेगी।
नियम 23(ख) का संशोधन (2) यह गजट में प्रकाशित किये जाने के दिनांक से प्रवृत्त होगी। 2-उत्तर प्रदेश अधीनस्थ श्रेणी के पुलिस अधिकारियों की (दण्ड और अपील) नियमावली, 1991 में, नियम 23 में, नीचे स्तम्भ-एक में दिये गये खण्ड (ख) के स्थान पर, स्तम्भ-दो में दिया गया खण्ड रख दिया जायेगा, अर्थात् :-

पुलिस महानिदेशक को जो या तो पुनरीक्षण का विनिश्चय कर सकते हैं या किसी अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक अथवा अन्य पुलिस महानिदेशक को इसका विनिश्चय करने के लिए नामनिर्दिष्ट कर सकते हैं।
पुलिस महानिदेशक को जो या तो पुनरीक्षण का विनिश्चय कर सकते हैं या किसी अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक को इसका विनिश्चय करने के लिए नामनिर्दिष्ट कर सकते हैं। 2 उत्तर प्रदेश असाधारण गजट, 20 दिसम्बर, 2021 THE Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 07/2021/250/Chh-pu-2-2021-1000 (15)-1972, dated December 20, 2021 for general information :

IN exercise of the powers under sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 46 read with section 2 and 7 of the Police Act, 1861 (Act no. 5 of 1861) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Police Officers of the Subordinate Ranks (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1991.
THE UTTAR PRADESH POLICE OFFICERS OF THE SUBORDINATE RANKS (PUNISHMENT AND APPEAL) (FOURTH AMENDMENT) RULES, 2021
Short title and
1. (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Police Officers of the commencement
Subordinate Ranks (Punishment and Appeal) (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2021
(2) They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Gazette.
Amendment of
2. In the Uttar Pradesh Police Officers of the Subordinate Ranks (Punishment rule 23(b)
and Appeal) Rules, 1991, in rule 23, in sub-rule (1) for clause (b) set out in Column-I below, the clause as set out in Column-II shall be substitutied, namely :–
