उपभोक्ता संरक्षण (राज्य आयोग और जिला आयोग के अध्यक्ष एवं सदस्यों की नियुक्ति के लिए अर्हता, भर्ती की पद्धति, नियुक्ति की प्रक्रिया, कार्यकाल, पद से त्याग-पत्र और हटाना) नियम, 2020 के नियम 4, 6 एवं 10 के साथ पठित उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2019 (अधिनियम संख्या 35 सन्‌ 2019) की धारा 42 की उपधारा (3) के खण्ड (ख) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके राज्यपाल डॉ आभा गुप्ता पुत्री स्व0 श्री आनन्द कुमार, सेवानिवृत विशेष सचिव, उत्तर प्रदेश शासन को तत्काल प्रभाव से राज्य उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग, उत्तर प्रदेश, लखनऊ में महिला सदस्य (गैर न्यायिक) नियुक्त करती हैं जो चार वर्ष की अवधि तक के लिये अथवा पैसठ वर्ष की आयु तक के लिए, जो भी पहले हो, पद धारण करेंगी।

IN exercise of the powers under clause (b) of the sub-section (3) of section 42 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (Act no. 35 of 2019) read with rule 4, 6 and 10 of the Consumer Protection (Qualification for appointment, method of recruitment, procedure of appointment, term of office, resignation and removal of the President and members of the State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2020, the Governor is pleased to appoint Dr. Abha Gupta D/o Late Mr. Anand Kumar, Retd. Special Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh as Woman Member (Non-judicial) of the State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission Uttar Pradesh Lucknow with immediate effect who shall hold office for a term of four years or up to the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.
