दण्ड प्रक्रिया संहिता, 1973 (अधिनियम संख्या 2 सन् 1974) की धारा 21 के अधीन शक्ति का प्रयोग करके राज्यपाल प्रदेश के समस्त जिलों में तैनात राज्य सरकार के सभी विभागों के समस्त राजपत्रित अधिकारियों, अधीनस्थ राजपत्रित अधिकारियों और राज्य सरकार स्वामित्वाधीन अथवा नियंत्रणाधीन स्थानीय प्राधिकरणों और निगमों या निकायों के वेतनमान रूपये 9300-34800 या उच्चतर वेतनमान का पद धारण करने वाले ऐसे अधिकारियों को, जिन्हें संबंधित जिलाधिकारी/जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी दिनांक 09.04.2022 को होने वाले उत्तर प्रदेश विधान परिषद के स्थानीय प्राधिकारी निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों से द्विवार्षिक निर्वाचन 2022 में मतदान के दौरान शान्ति एवं सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की दृष्टि से तैनात करना आवश्यक समझें, कार्यपालक मजिस्ट्रेट जिन्हें विशेष कार्यपालक मजिस्ट्रेट के रूप में जाना जायेगा, नियुक्त करते हैं और ऐसे कार्यपालक मजिस्ट्रेट को उक्त संहिता के अधीन कार्यपालक मजिस्ट्रेटों को प्रदान की जा सकने वाली समस्त शक्तियाँ प्रदान करते हैं, जिनका प्रयोग वे संबंधित जनपद की सीमाओं के भीतर कर सकेंगे, जिसमें वे तत्समय तैनात हैं।

IN exercise of the powers under section 21 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act no. 2 of 1974), the Governor is pleased to appoint all Gazetted Officers and Subordinate Gazetted Officers of all departments of the State Government of all officers holding posts carrying the Pay Band Rs. 9300-34800 and above in Local Authorities and Corporations or Bodies owned and controlled by the State Government, posted in all districts of U.P. in bienniel elections-2022 for Uttar Pradesh Lagislative Council of Local Authorities election areas as Executive Magistrates to be known as Special Executive Magistrates dated 09 April, 2022 and to confer on them all the powers of the Executive Magistrates as are conferrable under the said Code on such Executive Magistrate, to be exercised within the limits of the respective districts in which they are for the time posted.
