IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Notification no. 498/ XXV-1–2022-3-1-1-2007-C.X.(1), dated April 25, 2022:

IN exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of Article 166 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to make following rules with a view to amend the Uttar Pradesh Rules of Business, 1975 :–

THE UTTAR PRADESH RULES OF BUSINESS (TWELFTH AMENDMENT), 2022

Short title and 1. (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Rules of Business (Twelfth

(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from

December 15, 2016.

In exercise of the powers under rule 12 of the Uttar Pradesh Rules of Business, 1975, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh is pleased, on the advice of the Chief Minister, to issue, as a supplement to the aforesaid Rules, the following Instructions to amend the Uttar Pradesh Secretariat Instructions, 1982 for a more convenient transaction of the business of the State Government in the departments of the Secretariat :–

THE UTTAR PRADESH SECRETARIAT (FIFTH AMENDMENT) INSTRUCTIONS, 2022 In the Uttar Pradesh Secretariat Instructions, 1982 for clause (ii) of Instruction-2 set out in Column-I below, the clause as set out in Column-II shall be substituted, namely :–
